The Palos Verdes/South Bay Alumni Chapter is a non-profit professional fraternity whose purpose is the recognition of scholarship and musicianship and the fostering of the ideals of service.
The fraternity raises funds to provide scholarships to local college and university music students and to provide grants to local public school music programs and music education organizations.
We welcome donations to promote our philanthropy.

Meet the winners of our Spring 2025 Scholarship Awards. Congratulations to top prize winner, Sofia Marmaud (soprano) of California State University, Long Beach. Second prize goes to David Contreras (opera) of El Camino College, with third prize going to Moisés López López (bass/baritone) of El Camino College. There are other winners listed, each earning a substantial scholarship award.

Members - Report SERV HOURS
How to Report SERV Hours: If you do not have access to a computer please contact the collegiate advisor, alumni advisor, or executive office of Mu Phi Epsilon for help. It only takes a few minutes, and we feel it will be easier for you to report your SERV hours thought out the year instead of waiting until May and trying to remember your hours from the entire year.

- On the fraternity's website, go to Member Resources, go to Collegiate Forms & Manuals (or, Alumni Forms & Manuals), scroll down to “Report SERV Hours”
- The form will auto fill, with your name, address, chapter (if applicable) and email.
- You will need to fill out the following:
- Description of Projects / Activities This information is for the collegiate and alumni advisors to give us an idea of the project/activities that our members are doing. This is optional, but we encourage you to provide this information.
- Total Hours for the date range reported. Note: Hours may include travel to and from the SERV activity.
