Darlene Vlasek - Chair of Musical Mosaic

Picture
Greetings!  My name is Darlene Vlasek, and it is my privilege to serve as chair of the wonderful program known as Musical Mosaic, a program that has grown from very modest roots to the glorious concert it is today. Through the years, it has evolved into one of the major events in the South Bay Area of Los Angeles County. In recent years, the concert has held to a general format that has proven to be very successful for its variety and array of exceptional performances, a true mosaic of admirable talent. Each Musical Mosaic concert showcases our own professional, highly talented members; a qualified winner or two of our college scholarship auditions; an outstanding youth group representing our support of public-school music programs; an exciting ethnic or folk ensemble; and highly acclaimed award-winning professional musicians in solo or ensemble performances. This year’s Musical Mosaic will be held in the Rolling Hills United Methodist Church at the corner of Crenshaw Blvd. and Palos Verdes Drive, North, in Rolling Hills Estates, on Feb. 4th, at 4:00 pm. The concert will be live and live-streamed.
